of the OMRHA
and Inline Hockey!

While you can use your Ice hockey gear.......
we strongly recommend you look at true inline gear.

Inline equipment offers you all the protection of your ice gear, but at a fraction of the weight, comes fully vented and comes with a greatly improved & increased range of motion. You will not only feel cooler but more free to move and react to a faster paced game than traditional ice hockey. Hockey socks and ice pants will stick to the floor, where as inline pants are designed to slide and thus they are more resitant to ripping than your ice gear. Heat is a big part of roller hockey. There is no ice to cool the air...just the cool breeze as you rush past your opponent. This makes well vented pants and gear essential to allowing the heat to escape and the cool air in. Ice gear is usually designed to retain the heat...inline gear lets air flow though and thus cools you. All together, the more comfortable you are the more enjoyable the game and when you feel better you have more time to work on your skills!

Check out the gear below!!!

Out Players:

  • Indoor Wheels with a 72A-78A Durometer Rating
You will have to see what works best for you but you will find Sticky wheels provide a better grip to the floor and thus more control. However, too soft and you will loose speed. We have a court floor and thus you need to go softer (72a-76a) is best. The heavier you, the harder the wheel...the lighter you are, the softer the wheel.

  • Jock or Jill
    Enough said!
  • Roller Hockey Girdle & Pants
While traditional hockey pants and socks can be worn, we highly recommend against it. They are much more bulkier, hotter and combersome to were playing inline. You don't want to overheat or loose an edge because your pants got in the way. Inline pants are also designed to slide better on the floor. Traditional socks and pants will rip more and faster on the arena floor.
